Privacy Policy

Cordolo ("we", "us") provides jobsite management software for home builders and their crews. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email hello@fieldsync.app.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, password (stored hashed), company name, and role.
- Content you add: jobsites, addresses, tasks, notes, permit documents, photos, mileage, and voice memos. A memo is a short recording you make on site. It stays on the phone until the phone has a signal, then it is stored for your company.
- Photo location and time: when a crew member takes a photo, we record the time and, if they allow it, the device's GPS location.
- Work-hour location: if a company turns on location sharing, it sets the work days and hours. A crew member can agree to share their location during that window. They cannot choose different days or hours. The phone records a point every few minutes in that window, including while the app is in the background, and stops outside those hours. Nothing is collected until that person allows it. The company's managers can see the latest point on the map.
- Usage information: basic technical data such as browser type, IP address, and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use information
- To provide the service, including showing photos, tasks, and permits to the right people in your company.
- To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To send account emails such as sign-up confirmation and password resets.
- To contact you about billing or important changes to the service.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use your photos or documents for advertising.
Who can see your data
Data belongs to your company. Only people who have joined your company can see its jobsites, photos, tasks, and permits. Company owners can see everything in their company; crew members see the tasks assigned to them or to anyone, plus photos and permits. Each company's data is separated at the database level.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run Cordolo. They process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase for the database and sign-in.
- Cloudflare R2 for storing photos and permit files.
- Our hosting provider to serve the app.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If your company cancels, we delete company data within 30 days unless you ask us to export it first or we are required by law to keep it. Deleted photos and files are removed from storage.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correct, or export your information by contacting us.
- Ask us to delete your account and data.
- Turn off location sharing in the Cordolo app, or turn off location access for Cordolo in your phone's settings. Photos will still upload without GPS, and work-hour sharing stops immediately.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR. We honor those requests.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Files are served through private links that expire after a short time. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
Children
Cordolo is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we will let account owners know by email before they take effect.
